Abstract:
The water is an indispensable source for the human provisioning and through the times the search for this resource, has if intensified by the high search by water of good quality. The basin of the river Bacanga, located entirely inside of the limits of the municipal district of São Luís, more precisely in the northwest portion of the Island of Maranhão, demarcated by the pairs of geographical coordinates: 2°31'50 ,85 "S to 2°34'34 ,11 "S and 44°18'14 ,22 "W to 44°28'92 ,00" W, possesses singular paper in the public provisioning of water of the municipal district of São Luís. In this sense, the relationship is investigated between the perforation of tubular wells and the high explotation of the underground waters in the inferior course of the basin of the river Bacanga, fact this that can provide the intrusion of the saline wedge in the watery of the Formation Barreiras and Itapecuru. For that, the method proposed GALDIT is used Chachadi and Lobo Ferreira (2001), used in several parts of the world, that analyzes hydrodynamic data of tubular wells, for the evaluation of the degree of the vulnerability to the saline intrusion, classifying her/it in high vulnerability (.75), average (5 -75) or it lowers (.5). The letters of the method reflect each parameter that this being analyzed, such as: G. Occurrence of the watery, THE. Hydraulic Conductivity; L. Level piezométrico; D. Distance of the Line of Costa; I. current State of the saline intrusion in the watery (Bicarbonatos / Cloretos); and T. the thickness of the watery. For each letter it will be increased a consideration value that varies of 1 the 5. in this research the activities are described developed in the period of August from 2016 to 2018 where they were gathered; For that, the method proposed GALDIT is used Chachadi and Lobo Ferreira (2001), used in several parts of the world, that analyzes hydrodynamic data of tubular wells, for the evaluation of the degree of the vulnerability to the saline intrusion, classifying her/it in high vulnerability (.75), average (5 -75) or it lowers (.5). For each letter it will be increased a consideration value that varies of 1 the 5. In this research the activities are described developed in the period of August from 2016 to 2018 where they were gathered the rising of database of the inferior course of the basin of the river Bacanga, tabulation and analysis of the data, treatment and tabulation of the same ones. The data were treated in the software AquiferWin32 for identification of the parameters G. Occurrence of the watery and THE. Hydraulic Conductivity; associated the espacialização of the data being used techniques of interpolation of space data for the espacialização of the collected information. The results obtained through AquiferWin32 point that the watery of the area is classified as semi-confined, obeying the permanence curve proposed by Theis (1963), besides a Hydraulic (K) Conductivity varying from 1,27x10-7 m/s to 3,86x10-6 m/s which is reflected in a productivity generally low to moderate, according to the table proposed by Struckmeir and Margat (1995) and Diniz et al (2012). The parameter L - Level Piezométrico in the study area presented a variation of the Static Level occurs +44,2 m the -38,5 m indicating values of the parâmetroentre of 2.5 to 7.5. The parameter D - Distance from the Coast line in the study area the variation of the shoreline occurs from 119 m (P-13) 7.708,9 m indicating the value of the parameter D, the index of 2.5 to 7.5 and 10 as (CHACHADI AND LOBO FERREIRA, 2001). For the Parameter I enhances the work of the field for the identification of tubular wells, as well as for the analysis of water through the probe multiparâmetro Aquaread AP800 and samples of 6 (six) wells are sent to the laboratory, in addition to data from wells registered by the State Secretary of Environment - SEMA. It still, 21 water samples with the parameter of the salinity of the barrage of bacanga, which point to a water with characteristics of salt and brackish ranging from 22 ppt to 32,39 ppt. The results obtained by the method GALDIT, demonstrate that the vulnerability to intrusion salina in the study area, for the most part, lies in the vulnerabilities that are low to moderate, however the wells located in the northern region of the basin, more precisely, the wells P-13 and P-17, P-10 and P-28 showed a vulnerability to salt water intrusion, possibly caused by its proximity to the coast line, as well as by the dynamics of estuarine area that reminds us of the greater attention and monitoring in these region. The method presented satisfactory results for the evaluation of a phenomenon, a silent, but present day, because it is a sensitive environment and with an exploration constant water, has been shown to be a reliable and easy to apply, in addition to make it possible to produce cartographic documents for a better territorial planning for conservation of groundwater resources on the Island of Maranhão. Thus, it is recommended the preservation of recharge areas are present in the State Park of Bacanga greater control on the authorization and exploitation of underground water, policy, urban planning and the monitoring of groundwater quality on a seasonal basis in the basin.
